Winter or spring?

My walk home this evening was awful, there was rain, sleet, hailstones, wind and it was blinking cold to boot.

It was all so different from my walk in to work this morning when it was bright and sunny, with not a cloud in the sky, when. I blipped this forsythia.

Forsythia is part of the Oleaceae (olive) family, with 11 species, mostly native to eastern Asia, but one native to southeastern Europe. Forsythia is named after William Forsyth
(1737–1804), a Scottish botanist who was royal head gardener and a founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society.
