A primrose and a chicken foot
The trouble with the countryside is that there is a wealth of blip potential to be seen from the car but nowhere to stop and park. This evening's sightseeing trip saw me drive past a tractor man ( and his tractor) in his field of super deep furrows. I drove past him for another half an mile, turned round, came back down a little road I had spotted. Where he was just parking up for the night. So no generic Norfolk tractor in a field shot. Instead I carried down the little road and found a church. This is why blip is great. I had a little bimble round the graves, admiring the natural primroses and felt quite light of step by the time I left.
In other news, Will went to a science day which involved dissecting a chicken foot. Which revolted him so much he actually vomited. He said he was so busy dealing with the vomit that he actually forgot all about missing me. This is the boy who has been sick maybe twice ever and has never shown a single element of squeamishness in his life. Apparently the rest of the day's was "fine". He seemed happy enough though so I am marking that up as a successful day.
