The three elephants

I was done in.

 It didn't look like I had a lot to do at work, but by the time I had 15 minutes break at lunch and got back from the afternoon work, to a desk that was heaving with more and more work. The answerphone messages eventually got answered and I only left half a ton for the colleague coming in the next day.

My team leader says we all get slower the older we get. I DIDN'T hit her.
The problem is that no one knows exactly what  my workload was or indeed is every friggin Monday........... I better stop there.

Things are afoot to change. I can't wait.
