Miss Ewe

After coming in like a lion   March didn’t go out like a lamb.  With a day of rain, sleet, snow, hail and gales the sheep would be very grateful for their thick woolly coats although I doubt if any would want a hat like Miss Ewe’s.

March certainly didn't go out like a lamb in 2010 as It is exactly five years this evening/night when we had a long memorable drive and for a time drove along a main road lined with deep snow.  Then we discovered the road didn't appear to have been cleared and it was impossible to turn round so it was with great relief that we arrived safely.
