An Unexpected Guest

Pirate Peppa is back. You can't refuse a pirate.

BATHTIME
Me: what's that scrape on your back?
Alexander: I don't know
Me: it looks sore, does it hurt?
A: No
Me: can you remember how you did it?
A: No. 
A: Um, it might have been when me and [best pal] were fighting in the book corner when nobody was looking and he hit me in the eyes and I couldn't see....
Me: Errrrrrrrrrrr, were you playing?
A: Yes! But [best pal] is winning. He won two times.

Later......
Alexander: I've been so good today. I haven't done anything bad .....
(mumbles) uuummmm, apart from fighting but nobody saw that.... 
I bet the Easter Bunny will be so happy with me, and he will stop and bring me an Easter egg!

I wish he would never grow up....
