Not really, because the statue of the old Egyptian queen (?) had a hat of this  shape . What you see here are dreadlocks that are the result of 17 years of growing your hair. They would come down to her butt if she would let them hang down.
Just a visitor of the little restaurant where I had lunch today. And she posed for me ... :-)
