Day - 67 The Snow is Retreating.....

After a few days of storms I was hoping for a return to winter conditions, but the freezing level was high and rain fell up to 2000m altitude for a while. The new snow I skied is very heavy, and because there was so much of it the avalanche risk is high once again at 4 out of 5 at higher altitudes. When you get a view across the valley like this you can see the snow line is definitely getting higher. A few more weeks to go before the lifts close, let's hope it lasts, then summer can arrive the very next day and the biking session can begin.
