59 Years and Counting

We are blessed with two wonderful daughters.  They set us up for a nice trip to celebrate our anniversary.  We started the day by taking our family to lunch after church, then our girls and Annie's hubby met us at the Rock Shop on the way.  We enjoyed some time looking at the beautiful rocks, then we headed north as our girls headed south to go back home.  We later arrived at the Village Green in the little town of Cottage Grove.  They ordered a very nice room for us with a pretty little courtyard adjoining.  Dinner came with the package.  I had Surf and Turf and hubby had Prime Rib.  We enjoyed it so much.  We had a nice evening enjoying the rest of the day. 
Our anniversary was actually the next day.  It was such a beautiful weekend we decided to go farther north to Corvallis.  We had a very nice lunch at a favorite restaurant, then went to visit my sister-in-law in the hospital who had fallen and broke her hip.  She said it made her day to see us.  Hopefully she will be able to go to rehab in a day or two.  We then visited with hubbies Aunt before heading home.  We stopped in Florence for dinner, then on home.
Such a special time, thanks to our girls.  After 59 years we hadn't made any special plans.  We were so glad they motivated us to go have fun!!  Thank you to two wonderful daughters and their hubbies.
