Arkamas Peninsula

Today's nine mile walk took us along the Adonis trail through the stunning countryside. A gentle climb to the highest mountain in the region for lunch which gave great views along the coastline.

The slow descent after lunch... Which involved more grappa, took us to the Baths of Aphrodite, this is where Aphrodite bathed after her liaisons with Adonis.

This was followed by another quick beer and some great baklava before heading back to the excellent Aphrodite Beach Hotel for a quick dip in the sea and some more beer.
