A Cold Morning

This is my entry for Hobbs Wide Angle Wednesday challenge:-

This is the small lake at Holywell Green, which was taken from high on the bank, as the theme today is "Looking Down";  I've found it a fine line between achieving good DOF and unwanted distortion.  This shot looks O.K., but others I've tried looking over balconies and down staircases have not worked out well at all.

Today's weather was icy cold and windy   -  and fortunately a little sun now and again.  I do wish the weather would improve as winter seems to have been particularly dreary and drawn out, and I'm Ionging for some mild and pleasant days.
