Boffins.

Vittorio and Roberto who have just started an old and neglected boat engine, much to their glee in the presence of other boffins in a kind of ceremony.
Vittorio is one of those brilliant guys who can turn old mecchnical junk into beautiful fully functioning machines. He has a 1940's american jeep in his shed and a wind up air raid siren, bits of airplane engines and two large rooms ful of bits and pieces, a lathe and anything else you can think of.. Since retirement, he worked for many years fixing boat engines, but now he just does it for fun. Roberto has recently resuscitated an ancient aircraft engine.
