Downtown for lunch with K. This time Chinese food eaten on a roof garden. More deliciousness. 
These are called Privately Owned Public Spaces and new buildings (after a certain date) have to provide these as open spaces for the public.
Superb idea. So many places to discover yet in San Francisco that must wait for my next visit as this trip is so nearly over. An evening with K afterwards. I am savouring every last second of time with her.

I can feel my sadness of leaving waiting to strike in the back of my mind.
