Male Bullfinch
This morning I went out with the monthly U3A Birdwatching Group. We went to Llyn Coed Y Dinas Nature Reserve at Welshpool where we saw the first swallows and sand martins that any of us had observed this year. There were also a pair of bullfinches, this being the very handsome male. It's a shame that he chose to sit so close to the briar but as I'm hopeless at photo editing it will have to stay!
