After lunch we wandered round Midhurst where I investigated the New Bear in Town (for interested 'Locals' the shop, Chapter 24 is in Knockhundred Row, not West Street as stated yesterday).
Paddington comes with his Aunt and suitcase - £85 the Lot - and dates from the 1970s. Given the type of shop I guess that's not a bad price for the three. Anyway, on closer scrutiny he would not be right for Lily, even if he came on his own. So he'll grace the shop window for a while yet...
