Fountain

We have a fountain in the Bull Ring at Wakefield.

For those who don't know it, it is a ring of water jets which, when it is working, fire gentle arcs of water into the centre.

Children, young and old, like to dance under the arches trying to get wet or keep dry, depending on their desire.

In this hot weather it is very tempting.

Unfortunately, it breaks down a lot and days like today aren't very frequent, but it's nice when it all comes together.

Just after I took this the council workmen turned it off for maintenance.

It will be raining tomorrow!
