Beauty and the Beast!

Well, mini beast, but I think they are both beautiful. I captured this little pic in my garden earlier and I love the colour contrast of the red ladybird with the yellow buttercup.

We have had a cosy staying in sort of day. I have been busy just putting the finishing touches to the new found space we have created in the house with a fresh coat of paint and we have a new canvas print of a beach scene ready to put up when that dries. I am really pleased with the results, it's like a little bit of sanctuary. I say that, until the boys realise it will also double up as a good space for footie skill practice!

My brother has just left , he popped around with his wedding dinner menu choices. They all look delicious, I wonder if I could have one of each;) it sounds as though their wedding plans are really coming together now.

A good day with loads achieved so looking forward to maybe getting out and about tomorrow:)
