Local Branches

Don't let the blue deceive you - it was a day of rather erratic showers, some decidedly heavy.

This tree has all it's branches in the correct place - at the top.  Our roofers arrived this morning and found one of the Scots Pine branches in the road (and had cleared it away for us, hence no photo). Otherwise we were pretty much unscathed by the winds - which is good given the height of some of these trees.

We spent the morning hunking slices of poplar and sycamore around the lower garden in preparation for a second visit by the ManSpade this weekend.
