Shifting Whispering Sands

Showing my age again I know, but this persistent west wind, the Tramontane is beginning to get to me. 

It is certainly making its mark on the local beach, as you can see. Very Sahara like today. 

As I'm sure you remember, Eamonn Andrews, who was the first ever presenter of This is Your Life back in the day, recorded a spoken version of the Shifting Whispering Sands in 1956. It is worth listening to on YouTube as it is total and utter rubbish. Didn't stop it getting to No. 18 in the charts though.
