Wide Angle Wednesday - Looking Down
I knew there was only one place to go to look down today. The Himmelsleiter (Sky ladder) in the forest in Schrems. It has been closed since the start of winter but opens on the 1st of April. I wasn´t sure if it would be after the big snow dump we had in the early hours this morning, but it was. I decided to go in the morning while the weather was still fine (we had rain and more snow this afternoon). No one else was silly enough to climb the lookout today - there was virgin snow on the platform and it was windy and freezing. I took a few shots then decided to call it quits when it started to sway with the wind gusts. I liked the shots looking down on the park but this view looking down the steps is more dramatic.
