First full day in Berlin. And full is right.

Straight after breakfast it was on the bikes and off through the Tiergarten up to the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag.

Round the back past museum island and up to Alexander Platz for our whiz up the TV Tower.

Lunch was in the Mitte area amid the grungy yet pretty stylish graffiti. And talking of graffiti, nothing quite matches the East Side Gallery, where sections of the old Wall have been transformed by proper artist.

The cycle home was via Oranien Strasse, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate again and  the Holocaust Memorial.

With light fading the ride through the Tiergarten was a good bit swifter than in the morning.

We all slept well this night.
