Millbrook Lake

I think these are Canada geese arn't they? The fledglings were so cute all 11 of them. Fearless Freds the little ones were, but mummy or daddy gave me a quiet hiss as I gently & quietly walked past them when they came up onto the grass after a swim.
I didn't have the camera on them when one of the parents lowered thier head to the ground and chased off what looked like a vole hurtling across the grass and diving straight into the lake. Its always the way isn't it - I saw it but not with camera poised :(.
Never mind - one day!
