Manor House Street. Horncastle.

This is one of my favourite streets in Horncastle. Mostly because it is the oldest road in the town dating back over a 1000 years. It was the gateway into the Roman fort and it is believed that the Romans used an existing road when building the fort. There is also the old Manor house home to the Bishops of Carlisle.
