if it ain't broke, don't fix it

I guess the motto "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here. This photo was taken at the local laundromat. Since no wind blows through this window, I guess that means it's still working. Although, I would think that a broken window might encourage more vandalism. 

I tend to hold onto things long after their customary use date. By this I mean that my sneakers, hiking boots, etc. literally fall apart before I consider finding a replacement. I don't recommend doing this, as my legs probably need more support than the old sneakers and shoes I tend to wear. BUT they are certainly very comfortable : )
