derelict thursday; Aussie Culture

Up in the hills NW of Perth today.  Three blippers on the lookout for derelict subjects.  Luckily Glyn is a patient driver who stops whenever something interesting comes into view, despite the Road Trains that seem to appear at the most inconvenient time. 

The area is rich in abandoned attempts to establish homes and communities out in the bush.  We come across derelict buildings and agricultural artefacts. We are polite and restrained when an opportunity presents itself; “after you. No - after you”.  Which is how I come to get first crack at this derelict truck.

When I show the image to Glyn he just says; "that's Aussie culture."
