New beginnings

I cleared the overgrown area by the pond a couple of weeks ago and planted some Grow Wild seeds that I was given in September last year. The idea is that the area will turn into a mini wildflower meadow for pollinators and insects (Grow Wild). When I went out in search of newts and frogs this evening, you could just see the first seeds emerging. Let's hope the hoards of hungry slugs don't hoover them all up. 
Still no frog spawn in the pond but lots of males thrashing around and calling.
