Malasaña, Madrid

Out walking around the trendy area of Malasaña and having a vermout before lunch. It's a public holiday here and so lots of madrileños are out and about enjoying the sun and the prospect of a nice long weekend. I like Madrid more and more and could easily slip into a life here for a wee spell.

We plan to have our usual late tapas lunch on Calle San Bernardo before picking up our trolley bags at the hostel and catching the 7.30 AVE back to Bcn.

It's been a great visit and really feels like a wee holiday!
