Well Dressed.

We went to Cowbridge this morning to do a food shop in Waitrose, as they had sent me vouchers with £8 off a £40 spend.  As i had three of them, i asked  the assistant when i got to the checkout, if it would be possible to do two separate orders ,and use two vouchers. I was amazed when she said yes.  When we had put the shopping in the car we walked into the town for a quick look around.  Next door to this clothes shop is my favourite jewellers, called Jenny Wren, and they had signs outside saying , retirement  sale.  Well i just had to go and have a look didn't I ?  You have to ring the bell outside ,and wait for them to open the door for you. We had to wait for a few minutes to be served, and i asked to see a necklace that i had seen in the window.  J said, i could have it for Easter ,so  what could i say? Yes, yes and  yes.  I am sorry they are closing, as they have been there for 38 years. We dove home, put the shopping away , and went straight back out to Lidl, as i had a voucher for £10 off a £50 spend and our wine stocks were low. When we got to the checkout she said, you can only have one bottle of wine with this voucher, but as i am finishing on Saturday, i will do it for you.  How lucky was that? Back in the car, and  then down to Porthcawl ,to pick up the Noah dvd that i ordered yesterday, and then home.  Well that's us sorted for the weekend.
