A Last Visit
9.9C and mostly cloudy although bright and with a few sunny spells. Light breeze.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. I had Capercaillie playing on the Nano. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. At Scryne we turned right and went down the road to Easthaven the joined the cycle path to start for home.
When we got to the spot on the path opposite the little derelict hut I tied Maeve to the fence on the cycle path and crossed the road and popped over the fence for one last visit to celebrate the last of the current series of the hosted derelict Thursday challenge on Blipfoto. Today's shot shows the ground cleared beside the hut and the cable reels and barrel that appeared from somewhere in the undergrowth that was there before. The shot also shows how close the road is on the left of and just one yard beyond the fence on the right is the main East coast railway line.
We came back along the cycle path and round in a long loop, heading into Carnoustie then up the main road before turning along for home.
