Tulip Patterns

My friend KB and I traveled up and met my friend Peg at the Bonhoeffer botanical gardens and perused the daffodils in their various stages and checked in on the progress being made on that site.  Then we journeyed up through the lovely skagit valley on our way to see the tulip fields and gardens.  These here are a gorgeous planting that can be seen at Roozengaardens  flower displays.  
 Afterwards we continued on to Bellingham where we had a late lunch in Fairhaven at the Colophon Cafe....fellow blipper Connections popped in for a nice chat---KB also grew up only a couple streets away from Peg and Cynthia!  They had a lot to share from childhood!  Great day for all of us!!
