By the river

I spent most of yesterday afternoon waiting for my 5 minute slot to have my stent removed. After some discomfort yesterday evening, I feel much much better today.
I have managed a walk to the local mill and back this afternoon, just over 5 miles. We have had our eldest son and grandsons staying, they are all moving on this evening to join their Mum who will be flying over from Switzerland and their other grandparents. I told my son to watch out for the flash of blue this afternoon and he soon spotted the kingfisher. It was too quick for a photo so these swans were second choice, not the best pose!
