The end of a long day

Been a sunny day not that I've seen much of it!  Busy morning, followed by looking at nursing homes for mum, found one we liked, visited mum in hospital to be told she was being discharged!  Ended up getting to the home early evening only to be picked up to go back for dialysis at 8.30 tomorrow!  I've lost my voice (not from shouting!) and my belief in the NHS and mums lost her dressing gown!  Trying to be light hearted but the whole situation is not funny. Glad it was school holidays. Will try to catch up with comments tomorrow.
