Right - work done, packing ready to load, box of wine purchased, Em's pressies hidden, Georges rucksack under 22kg, walks mapped, pubs investigated.

George and D of E  friends need to be at Newark station for 7-15am to get to Appleby for lunch and then walk to the first camp site before dusk . . .

We're heading for a cottage in Middleton on Tees,  and need to be in the hot tub by 2-00pm or we lose the deposit (well that's the story I'm sticking to anyway!)
