Derelict Thursday

I didn't have to look far for a Derelict Thursday blip today. This is the gate that leads to my garden and it is definitely showing it's age! It was made more than 25 years ago by my late father-in-law but the wood is now splitting in places and the wind earlier this week dealt a severe blow and wrenched the latch from its fixings. Until now, I have been loath to replace it but I think the time has come to give serious consideration to a obtaining a replacement.tr

And no, it's not really blue, it's brown!
