Painful exercise

Forgot to mention that the wee lady had her first batch of immunisations yesterday.  Nikki said it felt like introducing her to our cruel, cruel world.  The wee girl was all smiles and coos during the doctor visit while the doctor and nurse smiled and clucked at her, and then - stab! stab! stab! - 3 quick needles to the thighs.  Apparently, she cried momentarily in pain and then howled even louder in anger!

When the wee boy got his first injections, he cried in pain, too, but then Nikki nursed him and all was quickly forgotten. But the wee lady wasn't so easily assuaged - she nursed for a moment but then pulled back and cried angrily again. Nikki said it felt like she was saying 'how could you, Mama? How could you betray me so?!!' 

Luckily, all was forgotten today and she was back to being the chilled, happy baby we're used to.
