Lobster and bubbles

were what we had for our picnic for two today.
I can't remember the last time we had Good Friday on our own - must be 40 years or so!
So, we packed our picnic and went to the other side of the Cape for our delicious lunch. I went for a walk with camera,as you do, and this gorgeous heron was very obliging, fishing and wading with aplomb.
From what I can see in my bird books, I think it is a White Faced Heron. Please correct me if I'm wrong :)
We are expecting the middle sized munchkins any minute so here is my blip for today - our peace is about to be shattered - in a good way. (Oh - 2 ENORMOUS dogs are coming to sleep over too.........)
