They're baaack

Our pair of Canada geese have returned for at least the 4th or 5th year.  They adopt our pond as their home while they raise their babies, then they take off again. Most of the pond is still frozen but it is thawing around the edges.

Very  mild temperature today, pleasant, then drizzly rain started in the evening.
