Mountain Hares

I managed a walk in Longdendale before lunch and the clouds dropped to ground level.

No luck finding the migrant birds I was looking for - in fact not even a Stonechat or Reed Bunting.

I did manage to find Mountain Hares though. One of them still wearing last seasons white coat and the other already turning brown.
