Riding the escalator

Whilst Diana goes for a swim. Bit of role reversal this, but I didn't bring my costume with me and I don't think Darlington is ready for me skinny dipping in the public baths just yet.

I remember as a child going to the International Stores in the town centre just to ride the escalator. It was the only shop in town with one and on a good weekend, we would have beans on toast in the cafe at the top of the escalator. Simple pleasures back then but I think that was a good thing or maybe I'm just getting old? That was a rhetorical question and you don't need to answer (you know who you are).

Those wonky horizontals are doing my head in!
