What have we been making?

Our breakfast for Good Friday, of course!

It's a yearly ritual as can be seen from this entry and the links to previous years that it provides. .   The conventional crosses are missing because they don't seem to offer much gastronomic value.

There is much cinnamon in the mixture, my children not being here to control me....  It's special cinnamon this year that @Bundle brought back from India for us.  Exceptionally powerful.  The whole house, smells of cinnamon, and we do, too, as a result of last night's kneading.  Delicious!
