Jesus the Christ...

...is the name of the Easter pageant we attended tonight.
The program we were handed on entering the free outdoor event stated that this started in 1928 and involves a cast of 425 and a backstage crew of 100, all volunteers.
We arrived an hour early but were still seated toward the back of the grassy arena. We then learned that nearly 10,000 people show up each of the 9 nights the play is performed, and some come 3 hours early to get good seats!
It was a unique experience sitting outside on a lovely evening, with so many people, watching and hearing the wonderful story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, my Savior.
