Memories of 'Brief Encounter'

Who could forget the 1945 British romantic film directed by David Lean, in which a suburban housewife has a chance meeting at a railway station with a stranger which leads to an unfulfilled romance.   So sad.  But it wasn’t sad at Ingrow station today, just wet and not very warm or  Spring like.
