I have a friend who loves canals and narrow boats that sit on said canals and chug up and down Britain's waterways. Nice chap, bit of a geek, but a nice chap. When I was in South Africa with him he was reading this book 'living the dream' about a couple that sold up, bought a canal boat and set sail around the U.K. He loved the book - I laughed at him for 4 weeks
