Mrs Corner House

It was another lovely evening and the streets were full of people out walking, talking and playing. Mrs Corner House (not her real name) and Mrs Next to the Launderette (likewise) had been out for a walk and were chatting on the street corner.

I really wanted to blip both of them as it was such a great contrast - I couldn't see Mrs Corner's eyes because of her sunglasses, and all I could see of Mrs Launderette was her eyes.

We had a good chat. I had posted a copy of the photo of our street in 1901 through Mr and Mrs Corner's postbox as it shows their house, so she knew I was interested in photography and photographing the local community. I'd not spoken to Mrs Launderette before and she didn't want to be photographed, but she said next time....maybe.

I wasn't planning on black and white for this as her scarf was such a great colour, but my technical skills are limited and all the photos had a really blue tinge to them, hence the removal of colour. More practice will help!
