The Moors
Took the morning off with the intention of getting all set for my hols and getting my haircut. But I also promised Mum in law a ride out for coffee and cake. She doesn't get out much because of her hip problem. So Grandma, me and the lads had a drive around the West Pennine Moors with a stop at Rivington Barn for coffee. The purple moor grass is dying back to its golden colour and the cloud shadows racing across the landscape made it a magical morning. I also met up by chance with an old friend I've not seen for 2 years. So all in all it was a great if unproductive morning.
I'll be backblipping on my return from Wales. Watch this space.
