Au Revoir Sandend

Good bye Sandend, and Good bye Cullen, especially the Rockpool Café where we spent too much time eating scones and reading the papers.

With the sea literally on our doorstep, we will miss the views from the cottage windows of endless waves crashing against the rocks, and the vast sandy beach almost always devoid of people.

We have had a lazy time, mainly because of the inclement weather, but we have enjoyed the change of scenery and the friendliness and easy going pace of people and life in this part of Moray and Aberdeenshire.

The car is packed and soon it will be time to take a quick wander to the pier and take a last look at the surfers trying to find a wave with their name on it.
