Light

The shaft of light , the colour of the bricks and the glaze on the wet floor just made this view from our barn into the covered sand yard a must today! I had an early start loading pigs this morning, Mrs A S had planned to hack out alone (it being her day off ) Miller had other ideas!
Our visit to the yard after I finished work (non riding) Lead to :- a retraction of my statement of last night that the gate nest box of last year was unoccupied for the first time in our term here, is in fact occupied! On our way to the field tonight cheeping from the post was clearly heard, all be it about eight days late.
A loiter in the outer barn while Mrs A S and Miller considered thier future together, I managed these not very good shots of Jenny Wren and her chicks.
