Grey Grey Granite

Aberdeen's full of grey granite buildings, much of it quarried from Rubislaw Quarry in the west of the city. The quarry has been closed for several decades although a viewing platform was in place for the brave in the first years after closure. Now it is the largest quarried hole in Europe.....Google and you will see it in its awesomeness!
