A touch of paint

Rather a grey day today with cloud right down to the ground in places. We went in to Oban for a few odds and ends, but really for something to do rather than sit at home! I particularly wanted to go to the library, but of course it was shut for Easter. In the NTS we don't do public holidays as these are usually busy days at Trust properties.

Tried a few Blips but constant drizzle and grey skies made it hard to find what I wanted. While having lunch at Poppies I looked across the bay to Dunstaffnage Castle and thought I would pop in there in search of inspiration. I took various photographs including some of the boats moored at the jetty, including this one taken in Painting mode - I think it brightened up the scene a little.

Easter events at the garden tomorrow - let's hope the weather improves!
