9 miles in
The measuring marathon continues, today in the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria.
Days like today just enhance how lucky I am to be able to do something I love, keep fit and see beautiful countryside.
The weather was kinder than yesterday and the hills weren't as steep ☺.
I do try to take in fully the scenery when I measure bit the concentration required makes it difficult.
This is a good example of the concentration overtaking admiration of the scenery.
My focus was on making sure I properly referenced the mile point.
At the time I missed the beautiful view. I'm so pleased I got the view as well as the reference point.
Tomorrow could be a blipfest as I'm driving to the west of Scotland where I believe there is even more spectacular scenery.
Happy Easter.
