Karma camellia

Easter Saturday has been a day for dusting and de-cobwebbing, sorting and turning out. Very therapeutic, and the start of longer spring-clean next weekend.

It has been an overcast day, but a late afternoon stroll in the garden revealed signs of spring bursting out all over, including the camellias. This is my favourite, with its soft pink petals deepening to a vivid hue at the tips. No, they're not saturated, they really are that colour.

Looking forward to a jolly day tomorrow with my cousin Russ and family coming over for lunch. There will be eight of us, but hubby went out this morning and bought a joint large enough for about a dozen people, so we won't be underfed on Easter Sunday!
